Shipping and Returns
For customers within our delivery zones:
Orders are due by 2 pm sharp the day before delivery Tuesday - Friday. Orders for Monday delivery are due by 10:30 am sharp Sunday.
Delivery dates vary by region. Customers are assigned days of the week they are eligible to receive delivery when their account is set up. The minimum order eligible for delivery is $300, for which there will be a $35 shipping charge applied. The $35 shipping charge is waived for orders over $550. During times of increased fuel pricing we may apply a fuel surcharge. Please ask your sales rep about the current fuel surcharge rate.
For customers outside of our delivery zones:
Orders within Ontario but outside of our delivery range are shipped via Erb Transport. Orders are due by 8 AM EST the day of pickup.
Delivery turnaround varies by region. Delivery will either be one, or two-day turnaround. Customers are assigned days of the week they are eligible to receive delivery, and information about turnaround when their account is set up. Customers are responsible for paying the freight charge per pallet. This charge varies by region and is determined by Erb Transport. Erb reviews freight rates annually, and may increase their rates when necessary. Pfenning’s covers the cost of the fuel surcharge (FSC).

Orders may be picked up at Pfenning’s Organic Vegetables (1209 Waterloo St. New Hamburg, ON) Monday-Friday between the hours of 9AM-5PM.
Orders are due by 2PM the day before for pickup first thing in the morning. Orders may be submitted and picked up the same day with a minimum of 4 hours notice.
Wholesale Refund Policy
All product must be examined upon delivery.
All quality issues and shorts must be noted on the invoice or packing slip at time of receipt and communicated to our office within 24hrs. For items returned, or noted as short-shipped with our driver, a credit will be issued on your account within 1 business day.
If a quality issue arises after receipt a credit claim must be made in writing accompanied by photos, lot codes, a description of the issue, and the percentage of product impacted within 24 hours. A credit may be issued on your account as deemed appropriate.
